At Manufacturing Tax Recovery Services (MTRS), we empower businesses through innovative tax strategies. We're a rapidly growing firm specializing in innovative tax solutions and are experincing RAPID GROWTH and are seeking a Sales Account Manager to drive our mission forward and help our clients achieve financial success. We're a small but mighty team with a big impact, and we're looking for someone who shares our passion for client success.


We currently offer the Research and Development Tax Credit, Cost Segregation Studies, Work Opportunity Tax Credit and Sales and Use Tax Refunds. This individual would be responsible for managing all engagement types as well as training and developing staff. 


What You'll Do


As a Sales Account Manager, you'll be the face of MTRS, building and nurturing relationships with clients and referral partners. You'll guide clients through our suite of services, ensuring they maximize their tax benefits and achieve financial success. The Manager will work directly with staff and will report to the COO and Founder. 


We are looking for a self-motivated, driven and organized individual join our team!


The Role You Will Play:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to attract new clients and grow existing accounts.
  • Conduct client consultations, assess their needs, and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and tax regulations.
  • Will be responsible for maintaining and growing referral partner relationships
  • Establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential clients
  • Serves existing clients by selling other services and meeting client needs.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Recommends changes in sales method, products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Maintains positive relationships with outstanding customer service with clients.
  • Involved in collections on all their accounts and follow up.


What Needs to be on Your Resume:

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms as well as strong proficiency in the Office Suite
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Ability to travel to Networking Events (Some Limited Travel)
  • Strong Phone Skills, and experience writing great emails
  • Must be organized, efficient, and a team player.

Senior Tax Manager - R&D & Cost Segregation Expert | REMOTE

At Manufacturing Tax Recovery Services (MTRS), we empower businesses through innovative tax strategies. We're experiencing RAPID GROWTH and are seeking a Senior Tax Manager to drive our mission forward and help our clients achieve financial success. We currently offer the Research and Development Tax Credit, Cost Segregation Studies, Work Opportunity Tax Credit and Sales and Use Tax Refunds. This individual would be responsible for managing all engagement types as well as training and developing staff. The Manager will work directly with staff and will report to the COO. Candidate needs strong experience in R&D and Cost Segregation and must have managed accounting/financial services before, be very comfortable in Excel and other Microsoft Suite products, and be an efficient and organized team player.

The Role You Will Play:

  • Lead and manage client engagements in accordance with firm and professional standards, within budget and deadline expectations;
  • Plan and schedule engagements with clients and firm resources;
  • Serve as the main tax point of contact within our firm for clients once agreements are signed;
  • Responsible for clients receiving proactive communication and timely service;
  • Perform detailed reviews of tax work papers calculations completed by associates, but also be willing to roll up sleeves and prepare workpapers and calculations when needed;
  • Conduct client interviews;
  • Communicate proactively with clients and firm management regarding project status client service opportunities, and other significant matters in a timely manner;
  • Provide training, direction, and supervision to staff and senior accountants;
  • Participate in and provide leadership for firm initiatives and projects;
  • Maintain technical expertise in various tax areas related to industry specialization;


What Needs to be on Your Resume:

  • Requires a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • CPA certification required (or be on the path to certification);
  • Requires at 7+ years of job-related experience;
  • Experience making recommendations to management;
  • Prior public accounting or financial services experience.
  • Requires strong Cost Segregation and R&D Credit experience
